Thinking Activity: Structuralism

Hello readers,

Maharaja Krishnakumar Singhji Bhavnagar University, Head of English Department Professor.Dr. Dilip Barad gave this work to students through blogs - Work: Being a structuralist critic, how would you analyze literary text or TV serial or Film? You can select any image or TV serial or film or literary text or advertisement. Apply the structuralist method   Click here

Here I try to analyze a poem that combines structuralism. Connected to communal harmony. And Najam composer Attica Ahmed Faruki's book title is “ किताबों में फ़र्क क्या है

Extensive contextual literature
In the Introduction section of the Introduction section, the author attempted to generate readers' interest in the proposed research, in this regard, the author provided a comprehensive background on the study of the history of the country and the subject of history. That, and helped to study the essence of poetry in the wider context of scholarly research. A poem is said to try to explain many forms of communal unity. Mathura has also seen and seen Mecca too. With words like that Najam's or his ancestors celebrated with Eid and Diwali, going to the temple usually and listening to the mosque's Azam, he also trained with the people of Christianity lived life in the homes of Sikh people, friends are of my different religion. There is a lot of unity among friends, as well as stating that my clothes are organized but religion is not recognized, if you eat my food you will not recognize my religion. Ko gives equal importance to all festivals, not only Eid or Diwali but also Christmas and lohri. To see the world not to be seen with its narrow mind, one has to understand globality and freedom, Kashmiri pandits, different rituals of birth occurring in different religions, different traditions are observed at death. It helps to formulate some simple contextual perspectives here: India is a vast country, the country is intact with the surrender of rich traditions, and the culture is rich. Consistency, vision, pluralism and people belonging to different religions have been together for centuries. He also briefly describes the importance of his spirit, connecting people of many religions in India

Sign, signifier and signified:
Semiotics is a theory of sign systems and semiotic studies are increasingly attractive to those who are interested in signage as well. So the father-in-law divides the sign into two aspects. First there is a bit you can see or hear. Indeed you can imagine the signals that are accessible to every sensation. Leaders, those who promote religion, use it to take on certain things such as surname, name, area, clothing, food, etc., using flowers, using language, to look at the poison of racism in the present day. That is, they are now understanding that it may seem that they are afraid of being disturbed. Vandalism is used by the police. We are trying to change history by bringing it in front of the real face, this voice has been created because of treachery; Even though death is different but we celebrate it with festivals, we receive the blessings of different Gods. Seeing the differences in the book, Bow. Now, he sheds light on the extent of equality, and the incumbent Navi thinks that he is criticized for harsh racism.

Language, Langue, and parole:

In a simple way Language means the entire human potential for speech, Langue means the system that each of us uses to generate discourse which is intelligible to others, and Parole is individual utterance. If we explain these words in a simple way, so we can say that Langage or langue means those words are spoken universally but rarely thought in everyday life whereas parole means individual utterances mean we use in day to day life. It is by understanding the relationship between the two parts of the sign through langue that the signification of communication or parole may be understood.
Here the poet has used the word Najm Hindi which is the common word. It is easily understood but he has also used Urdu, Farsi, language. It prevents us from understanding why that language is not easily used.

Code without Message:

The message exists in that diachronic. The code incorporates its message to make message communication possible. But equally, the message underlying the code is that the code is created by the message that creates the actual communication. Roman Jacobson and others had this 'code' and message. Code is a language because it is in synchronous, in short, no communication can happen without a pre-existing, systematic, collectively understandable code, but sending messages by individuals will, in the long run, modify and restructure the code. The reason I mentioned structuralism through structural analysis makes it possible to expose the connection between forms of systems and meaning systems by replacing word search through word analysis for homogeneous similarity. Conventional criticism has faith in the message but now critics emphasize the code, so to doubt. In Najm, there is an emphasis on spreading the poison of racism with regard to religion. At the same time, it shows the love and equality of the people at the center. In a fascinating nazam, the author writes many things that are trying to change the world and the freedom, to bring history to the real face, in order not to see the world with its narrow mind.

 Thank you.
